Chani's birthday!
For Chani's birthday, someone decided that she wanted a Louisiana Purchase cake! Mitzi was happy to oblige!! So here it is! Complete with Lewis and Clark and Sacagawea!!
I think she really loved it, you can tell by the look on her face that this was the best birthday ever!!!

WE LOVE YOU AUNT CHANI!!!!
More Richfield Fun!
One day Grandma turned on the sprinkler and gave the kids some of the wilting flowers from the rose garden. Grandpa had given them some scraps of wood and they made boats!
They had a ton of fun playing in the water that day, but being the horrible mother that I am, I forgot to apply sunscreen! OOPS! They were all pretty sore for the next few days!!Here is Abby with her favorite Rose from the garden.
Molly fell asleep one night while "reading" this Spanish Berenstain Bears book!
We were in Richfield for the 4th of July and I was reminded how much I love small town parades!!
They did have an F-16 flyover during the parade!
And, of course, being in Utah, the Elders were in the parade!!
Here the kids are grabbing as much candy as possible.
Playing around at the parade
Getting messy with Fudge Pops!
We had lots of fun in Richfield and we always love visiting with Grandma and Grandpa Christensen!!
Building The Workshop!
We put up some drywall and puttied and taped and sanded---OH MY the SANDING!!!
Toby put the clear wall on the outside of the south wall
and he built these vent boxes for the paint room.
Chani and I put up most of the siding ourselves!!
The kids each wanted to have a part, so they got to help sand the drywall.
Some pictures of the various injuries sustained over the week.
The girls got to play inside with Grandma most of the time. They came out to show us these Froot Loop necklaces they made.
Here we are painting- or maybe contemplating what needs to be painted next! These last three pictures show what it looked like when we left!! Hooray for hard work!!
